So what is Web 2.0?
Google defines Web 2.0 as: Web 2.0 is a term often applied to a perceived ongoing transition of the World Wide Web from a collection of websites to a full-fledged computing platform serving web applications to end users. Ultimately Web 2.0 services are expected to replace desktop computing applications for many purposes. (Which is a reference to Wikipedia's entry for Web 2.0)
Tim O'Reilly has a post here (What Is Web 2.0) on his whole idea of what is Web 2.0 ... now is this the true meaning of it?
WhatIs has this as a meaning for Web 2.0 Seriously I want to know what Web 2.0 is? There has to be one overall meaning for it. Web 2.0 is not what? Web 2.0 is what? Web 2.0 is confusing!

Text Editors: Which I will use to developer scripts or alter html.
Coding from Mac OS X:
- SubEthaEdit (Very nice applications when your developing something with a team and all users run on mac)
- TextMate (I use this one mainly just I like how it prints source code on paper!)
- HyperEdit (When editing strictly php it works lovely)
- TextEdit (When I am absolutely bored and want to get in trouble I use this :P )
- PSPad Editor (This is all I need)
- Notepad (When I am delirious)
WYSIWYG: Sounds like some weird Dr. Seuss character nope just some visual html editor.
On The Mac:
- iWeb ( Just kidding :P )
- Dreamweaver 8
- NVU (When I feel like being dangerous!)
- CSSEdit (Awesome CSS Editor use it when I only need to do only CSS and nothing else)

Great job Moo.com!
Just a few of my favorites that I got printed ... I picked my favorites when I ordered from Moo.com said print and they shipped it to me. I plan on giving these out to family, close friends and in the end send them out to people who request them. So keep an eye on the blog for the announcement.

I just joined up with BookMooch which is a great site and the idea behind it is even better.
What is so great about bookmooch? Well you might have some books lying around that you haven't read for so long that you will never read them again. Why let it just sit there and rot when you can get books you want for that book(s).
So you have books that you have read and will most likely never read again so they are collecting dust. This is where bookmooch comes in :) . You give a book to get a book. So the books that you don't want anymore post them on bookmooch and people who want them will request it. Once they request it you send it to them and you get a point for that.
With a point you can request a book. No money is traded with the site or the requester. You only pay for shipping the book out to the person and that's it.
I am sending my first book out this friday and already requested one book that I have been looking into getting.
Nice thing is if you post up 10 books they will give you a point. 1/10 of a point for each book. Make sure though that the books you post are the books you want to give out otherwise your going to be sending out a lot of reject emails. I had to do this because I didn't realize the second you put it up it puts it into the pool for people to request.
So Here is my Wishlist ;) and here is my Inventory of stuff I am giving out.

I used Mootools for the frameworks just because it looks to me like an easier to understand framework and the functions that are built in are just perfect. The size and feature are just right.
I created a Video Tutorial of how to apply an Accordion effect to div blocks in a page and create a hands on feel to the site. I did do my best on exampling how to do it as easily as possible in the video ... It took me many tries to get the video just as close to perfect as I could.
If you enjoy and learn from the video fantastic that was my main goal and if you didn't really enjoy it or learned something from it but maybe got 1% of something back from it then hey you know that makes me happy also.
A real quick note I noticed that Mootools is now at revision 72 in the SVN repository and I still have revision 70 in the projects file zip. There was no changes that would affect the tutorial or the files. I decided not to update what was in the zip file.
What are you waiting for?!?!?! Go download the video and project files already!
-> My Personal School Homepage (which holds the real life scenario and other projects I have done or I am working on for school) You will need something like 7zip or IZArc or anything else that handles the 7z format to extract the movie. Also you will need Quicktime or something that handles MOV files to play the video.
Have any questions on the video contact me or post a comment.
I hope to do more of these ... I enjoyed doing it.

Shure E2c Inner Earbuds ... one of the best earbuds on the market. They have some awesome reviews and ratings. Every Audiophile I have spoken to has recommended these and they all have stood by them except for a few. One guy recommended the Sony inner earbuds ... and another the phillips but when I mentioned to the other audiophiles they pretty much feel on the floor laughing ... they must be bad earbuds.
I bought my black pair this past Saturday @ BestBuy they mailed me a 12% off coupon on MP3 Accessories so I thought I spend some money and save a little doing it. I been looking for a good pair of headphones/earbuds for sometime now and couldn't find one that was just right. Enter the Shure E2c inner earbuds ... these things are awesome! As a matter a fact on the way out the best buy yellow shirt security told me he has a pair of the same ones and when he would ride his motorcycle he wouldn't hear a thing .... in his words "I wouldn't know if the Police was trying to stop me".
I have been using them since I got them and he was right you can't hear shit with them on ... haha. The sound is so perfect though you wouldn't believe it. Of course you need to put them in right otherwise your going to get half ass sound. They give you three types of style fittings and sizes. Rubber, Soft plastic, and Foam. I went with the largest size in foam. They fit just nicely in my ear and I am oblivious to what's going on around me.
The fact that I can't hear anything around me does concern me so every once and awhile I will take one off and just listen around and I do pay attention to my surroundings.
Also this is the low end of their E series earphones/earbuds ... I can't imagine the quality of sound coming to of the others ... wow!
Worth the money? HELL YEAH! Try a pair while watching a movie or classical music ... you will see what I am talking about.

That's over 50% compression for a video that I already re-encoded to make it less in size.
I am going to attempt to compress the original movie with 7z and see how much it shrinks it down. If it compresses it less then 42 MB I am going to distribute that one instead.
OMG!!! It compressed the original movie that is 110MB to 21MBs that's around 5 times compression. WOW ... I think I have found my new choice when it comes to compression formats ... that's seriously amazing.
More info on 7z --> http://www.7-zip.org/7z.html
I recommend
7zip
or
IZArc
for archive managers on windows they both are free and for Mac OS X you can use
7zX
to compress 7z files (which is the program I used to compress my project) and
EZ 7z
to decompress or even compress as well as test the 7z file for crc errors.
